MAKE A DIFFERENCE
MAKE AN INVESTMENT

Let us show you how impact investing can help you, your family, your family office, your family foundation and your company
to achieve a market-rate financial return, change the world, AND improve your own life and the lives of your family or employees

What is impact investing?

Impact Investing is being called the New Philanthropy, the New Investing, the New Corporate HR and the new Family Legacy Planning.

Instead of giving away money that depletes a philanthropist's capital to make a difference, or investing in companies whose only purpose is to provide financial ROI, impact investors invest to advance their social and financial goals, but also their personal goals (whether corporate or family goals).

Impact Investors lend money to nonprofit organizations or for-profit companies
whose products or services advance causes, they buy equity in those for-profits, and they share in revenue of profitable social projects of both nonprofits and for-profits.

Creating your impact investing
program

We will help you with all aspects of an impact investing program for your company, your family, your family foundation, your family office or your family business..

Impact Investment Program Design

Picture
We consult with families, family offices, family foundations and family businesses and companies to design and develop their strategic plans for impact investing.

Plans help investors to identify their specific objectives in 3 areas: financial return, social impact and personal impact. Plans then map a course for achieving identified objectives, including

1. Envisioning and deciding on measurable outcomes.

2. Identifying legal and tax structures.

3. Integrating with family or corporate financial resources.

4. Learning best practices in family or corporate governance and leadership strategies that inspire maximum participation and minimize conflict.

5. Triple impact investment strategies to maximize financial, social and personal returns from investment.

6. Increasing impact by monitoring, measuring and reporting it.

7. Increasing personal impact by the investor and the investors' family or employees engaging with leaders of the investees and entrepreneurs through exciting and educational experiences with the investments.

Impact Investment Program Execution

Picture
We assist over years you and your families or employees to implement your strategic impact investment plans to see that they are successful in achieving your goals.

We assist you where our skills are needed and desired, but our goal is through training and mentoring to make you and your family or employees as self sufficient as possible--since it is through your involvement that you will maximize the "personal" impact (also called "The 3rd Impact") of your investing.

We will help you maximize and measure your impact in all 3 areas of impact you seek, not just financial.

We will work with your existing advisors to help them become proficient in providing these services if that is desirable.

Jeff Clark is the Chairman and Co-Founder of Impact Investment Leaders. As a CPA, Jeff became one of the founders of the Private Equity / Hedge Fund movement in the early 1990's. He then created what became the largest independent administration company for PE Funds and H Funds: JD Clark & Company. JDCC was a household name on Wall Street administering Funds for such companies as Merrill Lynch, Bank of America, US Trust, Brown Brothers and others.

After selling JDCC, Jeff became a prominent impact investor and philanthropist. He announced a large gift to his Alma Mater, Utah State University who were excited to name after him their Center for Entrepreneurship. He also set up and still manages his own family office called Praesideo. Jeff ran one of the oldest private equity funds in America under that umbrella.

Jeff is again building at Impact Investment Leaders a new fund administration service similar to what he did at JDCC, but this time he is providing more than traditional financial reporting  and legal compliance, he is also providing social impact and personal impact measurement and reporting services to help impact investors better advance their impact goals.

Jeff is also an social entrepreneur and manages a California company that designs a more efficient and powerful wind turbine which is a fraction of the size of traditional wind mills and produces 2-3 times the energy.
